By using our Service you understand and agree that we are providing a platform for you to post content, including photos, comments and other materials ("User Content"), to the Service and to share User Content publicly. This means that other Users may search for, see, use, or share any of your User Content that you make publicly available through the Service, consistent with the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.

Information you provide to us

You may provide us with information in several ways, including by filling in forms on our websites or on our apps or by corresponding with us by phone, email and live chat. This includes information you provide when you register for an account, enter into a contract for the supply of services, enter a competition, promotion or survey or report problems with our services.
The personal information that you provide may include your username, name, address, email address, password, phone number, birthday, Instagram account information, Facebook account information, Pinterest account information and other information about you to enable us to create you an account on the SCANDALOOK platform.
You may also provide us with personal content such as photos, comments and other material that you post on the service.


Information we collect about you

When you use our websites or apps, we automatically collect information about your device, including your IP address, your unique device identifier, information about your visit (including how you got to our websites) and how you use our services. We may combine this information with other information you have provided to us or which we have received from other sources.
When you visit the service, we may use cookies and similar technologies like pixels, beacons, and local storage to collect information about how you use SCANDALOOK and provide features to you.
When you use a mobile device like a tablet or phone to access our service, we may access, collect, monitor, store on your device, and/or remotely store one or more "device identifiers." Users can add or may have Metadata added to their User Content including a hashtag (e.g., to mark keywords when you post a photo), geotag (e.g., to mark your location to a photo), comments or other data. This makes your User Content more searchable by others and more interactive. If you geotag your photo or tag your photo using other's APIs then, your latitude and longitude will be stored with the photo and searchable (e.g., through a location or map feature) if your photo is made public by you in accordance with your privacy settings.


Information we receive from other sources

We work closely with third parties (for example, business partners, advertising networks, analytics providers and search information providers) and may receive information about you from them. This could include socio-demographic information and information about your likely interests based on your previous web browsing and purchases. We may combine this information with other information you have provided to us or which we collected about you.


How we use your personal information

We use personal information about you in connection with the following purposes:

  • Providing you an account on the service that allows you to browse apparels and influencers. Storing your account preferences in order to remember them each time you log into the service.

  • We may share User Content and your information (including but not limited to, information from cookies, log files, device identifiers, location data, and usage data) with businesses that are legally part of the same group of companies that SCANDALOOK is part of, or that become part of that group ("Affiliates"). Affiliates may use this information to help provide, understand, and improve the Service (including by providing analytics) and Affiliates' own services (including by providing you with better and more relevant experiences).
  • We also may share your information as well as information from tools like cookies, log files, and device identifiers and location data, with third-party organizations that help us provide the Service to you ("Service Providers"). Our Service Providers will be given access to your information as is reasonably necessary to provide the Service under reasonable confidentiality terms.

  • Subject to your profile and privacy settings, any User Content that you make public is searchable by other Users.
  • If you remove information that you posted to the Service, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages of the Service, or if other Users or third parties have copied or saved that information. What happens in the event of a change of control:
  • If we sell or otherwise transfer part or the whole of SCANDALOOK or our assets to another organization (e.g., in the course of a transaction like a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, liquidation), your information such as name and email address, User Content and any other information collected through the Service may be among the items sold or transferred. You will continue to own your User Content. The buyer or transferee will have to honor the commitments we have made in this Privacy Policy. Responding to legal requests and preventing harm:

Opting out of collection of information by third party advertisers

You can do this at any time by updating your email preferences in your SCANDALOOK account or by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing email we send you. You can also opt out of marketing by emailing contact@scandalook.com. Data protection law gives you the right to access your personal information, to object to the use of your personal information for certain purposes, and the right to erase, restrict or receive a machine-readable copy of your personal information. You can access, update and delete your SCANDALOOK account information by logging into your account, in the profile section of you website or app. If you cannot fulfil your request using these tools, please email contact@scandalook.com or contact us using the address below. We will handle your request in accordance with the law. This means there may be legal reasons why we cannot fulfil all requests.

Links to third party websites

Our websites and apps may contain links to other websites. This privacy policy does not apply to those other websites and we do not accept liability for the content of any other website. Please check the privacy policy of any other website before submitting any personal information to it. Children’s privacy

SCANDALOOK does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register for the Service. The Service and its content are not directed at children under the age of 13. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
